• Question: Why do some bodies reject some foods and why do some people reject some foods more than other people do?

      It probably has to do with a previous experience. People might not like certain foods due to a bad childhood experience to it or their brain associating it with illness or discomfort.

      Everyone is different. Some people can’t digest some foods, are allergic to them or they can cause discomfort. Some of it can be genetic, or it can just be bad luck some of the time. We should try to eat as wide a variety of foods, so that if there are some we cannot eat, then we will be able to get all the nutrients we need from others. If we have difficulty with some foods our doctors and dietitians can help tell us what foods to eat instead.

      Allergies are related to errors in the immunitary systems (which protect us from bad bacteria and virus). Sometimes the body wrongly recognize a component of a specific food or plant as an disease leading to allegies.
