The best thing to do is finding the sector of science (chemestry, biology, geology etc) you like the most and then focus on that.

Be open to advice and possible collaboration with people from different areas in Science and let your interest lead you.

Find what you are passionate about – for me its dairy farming. And then talk to your teachers or career advisors about what courses are available in that area! It is so important to enjoy what you do. If you like micro-organisms then a micro-biology course might be for you. Or if you like chemical reactions then maybe do a chemistry course. There is science behind everything!

If you have a preferred area, great, but don’t worry if you don’t, many different areas overlap. Be open to new experiences and crossing to different disciplines. Be curious and ask lots of questions. Listen to everyone, we can always learn from other peoples experiences.
