I don’t use animal for experiments and since they are very expensive we are developing new systems to reduce the number of experiments in which they are mandatory.

I use dairy cows with my experiments, but we have an ethics committee that double check what we are doing is not putting the cows under stress.

I don’t use animals for any experiments. I do work with milk and dairy that I get from animals, the exact same as the milk and dairy on the supermarket shelves. Scientists are very careful not to use animals for experiments unless absolutely necessary. We often do experiments in vitro which means in glass tubes rather than using animals. We have very good in vitro models and systems for testing without the need for animals.Sometimes animals are necessary for example to test drugs on before they can be given to humans. But I don’t work with them.

I don’t use any animals for experiments, I usually do tests on milk or other dairy samples. There are some other scientists that do, however, but only when absolutely necessary.
