Water is needed for a lot of functions in the body like digestion of food, circulation and absorption of nutrients, among other processes. It clears our body by flushing toxins and waste from the body. Our kidneys remove waste products from the blood and the toxic substances are eliminated in our urine and stool. This is why we need to drink plenty of water daily.

Most of our body is made of water, including most of our cells, and our blood. We need to drink lots to replace any water lost by sweating and urinating. If we don’t replace the lost water, salts and waste will be in higher concentration in our bodies. Our kidneys carry this waste out of our bodies with water.
