I liked biology and maths in school and I didn’t really like english or writing much, so I decided to do science in university. I thought I wouldn’t have to write much in science. Even when I was studying science in university, I still wasn’t sure if I wanted to become a scientist. I worked one summer in a lab at the university and I loved the work. I liked the challenge of it, I liked how each day was different and I like how there was so much to learn. So, then I decided I would stay in science and become a scientist. However, I was wrong to think I wouldn’t have to write much, I write everyday now, but it is easier than it was in school as I am writing about something I study and enjoy.

I always liked science at school and never enjoyed english or history or any of those subjects. I went to university to become a vet but i didn’t get selected to continue the vet course. i then started my science degree because its very similar. And I wanted to travel so I luckily found a job with VistaMilk and Teagasc Moorepark to begin my research career

I loved research since I was at University and I guess naturally found my way into Science that way.
