Depends on the day. On busy days it could be 8 – 10 hours, but most times it’s much less.

Some days I could be in the lab for 7-8 hours. Some days I might only be in the lab for 1-2 hours, and the rest of the day in the office. It depends on what work I have planned each day. I do a lot of my analysis on the computer in the office, so some days I spend longer on the computer than in the lab.

I don’t spend any time in the lab! I am outside with the cows around 5 hours a day and the rest is doing other jobs outside or inside working with excel spreedsheets or reports.

It depends on what I am doing. sometimes, I spend 80% of my work hours in the lab but at other times, I am at my desk writing up.
