No because every day is different. I do some of the same things everyday but there is always a new challenge – whether something goes wrong or something new is discovered. It’s very interesting to go to work and figure out what the day holds! Especially with cows – they definitely have a mind of their own and that creates a lot more uncertainty in my job!

Every day is different. Some days can be repetitive if something doesn’t work and I have to repeat it. But generally there is always new and different things to do. I can have different types of samples to analyse, different types of measurements to take. I plan different experiments and analyse different results. Some days I am in the lab all day, some days I am at the computer analysing or writing. Some days I have to visit processors or give talks. Every day is different.

Every kind of job has some level of repetition, the sensibility to boredom can change greatly from person to person

Everyday is different, which is the nice thing about Science. One day you’re in the lab, another you’re at the desk and yet another you’re talking and explain your work to others. There are some parts where you may have to do the same thing over and over again, but the results are always different, which makes it interesting.
